The spectacular Lima valley in northern Tuscany, with steep slopes rising some 1500 feet (450 metres) above the clear, rushing waters of the river below, remains relatively unspoilt, heavily forested and teaming with nature.

Better still, we are close enough to many of the main cultural centres and places of interest that typify Italy, such as Florence, Pisa , Siena , Lucca and the Mediterranean coast .

So, why not have the best of both worlds.

Nestling in the small village of Giardinetto, in the Apennine mountains just north of the famous thermal spa town of Bagni di Lucca, with its many shops, restaurants and bars etc…, is our country house (villetta).

Available to rent throughout the year is the entire first floor of the villetta, which forms a fully self contained and well equipped 3 bedroomed apartment.

The apartment is very spacious (100 square metres), tastefully furnished and there are mountain or river views from all rooms. An independent entrance leads to the guests own private balcony, which overlooks the gardens, and provides access to both the Dining Kitchen and Sitting Room.

The accommodation is offered on a self catering basis, but has the benefit of "home cooked " evening meals if requested.
